Over the past few weeks I’ve spent a lot of time discussing and researching how negative energy and though processes can harm our physical selves as well as determine how we look at life and the belief patterns we form within ourselves that affect our perception of the life we’re living. If we are in a perpetual cycle of self harm because of our thoughts then where’s the best place to start to begin healing ourselves?
Tonight on This Happy Guru I look at the actions of Forgiveness and Gratitude as a way of being able to let go of the negative belief systems we’ve developed for ourselves. I look at how and why such simple notions can be so damn difficult to achieve and practical resources available to us all to help us alleviate the repetitive patterns that we fall into when we’re triggered by either concept of Forgiveness or Gratitude.
As Buddha teaches:
“…watch the thought and its ways with care, and let it spring from love born out of concern for all beings… As the shadow follows the body, as we think, so we become.”
