David Spohr is a 47 year old lawyer in the East Rand of South Africa. He was born in Rhodesia in 1971 and his family left there in 1976. He was born and raised in the East Rand (the working class suburban towns of Johannesburg).
David followed his family’s footsteps and served in the South African Defence Force as a signal intelligence analyst in the Border war.
David is married and has three beautiful daughters.
In David’s current area of practice as a lawyer, he specializes in helping employers with the myriad of incredibly difficult labour laws to navigate in South Africa.
David serves his community on the governing body of a school and is uniquely positioned to advise on the appalling management and conditions that schools and teachers in non-apartheid South Africa are being subjected to.
David is studying archaeology and will begin his final year of studies in 2018. Hopefully then he can leave the law and do something more enjoyable!
