This week my guest on the show this week is Siobhan O’Farrell, a Lifestyle & Nutrition Coach and Nutritional Therapist. She has always interested in cooking and good food but about 8 years ago after a particularly stressful time in her life, she began to feel generally unwell. Desperate to feel well again, she went down the so called ‘alternative’ routes and started researching nutrition and it’s impact on health. That is where her journey began into what become a life changer. She came across Functional Medicine and the idea that the systems of the body, endocrine, digestive, immune, etc. are connected to each other and if one system is out of balance, it impacts another system and can cause illness.
Realising you are what you eat, Siobhan has now built a business based in Co Sligo in Ireland where she helps other people to regain control of their health through looking closely at what they eat, and works with clients to develop a personalised plan consisting of dietary advice and lifestyle changes which will bring the most positive outcome.
