Description:

Most have heard of the paleolithic diet, also known as the paleo or caveman diet. It stems from a philosophy of eating a food based on the food our ancient ancestors might likely have eaten, such as meat, nuts and berries, and excludes foods like dairy.

Many believe it is a more natural approach to nurturing our bodies. During this episode we will look at how we nurture our children, taking the same philosophy to heart.

Marie Goodwin + Eli Dietrich

marie&eliI am an archaeologist by training, but found myself much more interested in the modern stories of our culture than any ancient ones being thought up by academics. In addition to stories, I’m interested in life-learning, activism and transition. I am on the board of my local homeschooling resource center, Talking Stick. I am, also, on a great team of community builders that is Transition Town Media, and with their support founded the Media FreeStore and Timebank Media. I am also passionate about issues relating to local food, herbal medicine, and local economic resilience.

For my day-job, I work in the gift with author/philosopher Charles Eisenstein.
